I have a 1974 Dart that has a 318 and a 904 transmission. I lost drive and reverse in the transmission. The 318 has just been rebuilt. So I'm wondering what would be the best way to go? Should i get the 904 rebuilt, or should is there any late model transmissions that will bolt up to that...

Sorry for not being clear, I do not want stock sheet metal I want to replace the originals so I can throw a pair of fatty's and a shortened rear under the car.

I have a 318 dart that when I was driving home started to putt. Yesterday it made some putt sounds maybe once when I would get on it. 3 days ago it ran perfect! The only thing I can think of would be clogged fuel filter but what do you guys think??

I ordered a set of projector headlights with HID's for my car, I'm just asking because all the HID sets I have seen on other cars only have 2 wires coming from there harness and plugging into the HID kit. The kit I ordered said it was for my car but I was just wondering what all 3 wires are...

I am wanting to put different headlights in my 1974 dart, I want the kind where I can change the bulb but I also want to be able to put HID's in. Anyone know the best place I can find some like this?? Thanks

And my timing light does not have a dial

I read them I'm just having trouble understanding initial timing, on the marks on my timing cover it has some lines and one says before and one says after, I just don't know where to start

And it only does it once its warmed up, I don't think I'm getting a miss because it idles great in park and drives awesome!

I cannot figure out why my car keeps dying. I have a 1974 dart with a 318 that has a summit cam and a 600 cfm carb. It idles fine but once it's warmed up and I stop it kinda starts to idle rough then die. I was told that it was my torque converter which makes sense, just replaced the torque...

Ok I found an a-body 8.75 rear axle with a 742 case not sure what gears but I was wondering what I would be safe paying for it and how much money I would have to put in it to make it a posi.

I was going to replace the plug wires last night but did not get to it but already had the wires off so I put them back on and when I did I put them in the wrong order and it backfired, now they are all in right order and all it does is cranks no backfire

No I did not pull it and I checked all my wires and they all seem to be in the correct spot so is there a possibility it ruined something else?? Or maybe just flooded now??

What would I pull distributor for??
