After sitting 20 years, she cranked, purred like a kitten after about 5 min, and tranny went in all gears. Next to check through the brakes, and may drive home. Don't live but 10 miles from where car is now...lol

This is where she now sits till I get running, load on trailer to the house. She's not pretty, but very solid. Floors really the worst, and a mild fender bender in passenger taillight area.

I saw the Wiseco,and K-1 setup, but at almost a grand for rods, and pistons, I'd have to go V8. Now I love my L6s, they are tried n true. But sad cant find new OEM rods. I really want to keep my car originalish as possible so hate to loose the L6.

Anyone have a link, or where to buy better than stock connecting rods without breaking the bank? Not drag racing but would like a lighter rod, and if all else fails, where to buy OEM style rods. Car has always ran mid/high warm side, but never hot, before, and after build.

Factory 4 speed Hurst shifter floor. ENGINE-factory build bottom end, 1976 head shaved 60/1000, big valves, Super six intake, Holley 650 4bbl. After brake upgrade may start on body work.

Super six cast iron intake painted with the cast iron gray engine paint after I sand blasted it. I went with Chrysler blue since the car is silver blue. When I pull the motor next year for paint/body work may go back with red on engine, will be a SPLASH of color with bonnet raised...
