So is the manual box here, from the 63 Valiant, the exact same as a stock Manual gear from a 72 Duster?

Power to Manual Steering spline differences

I have taken out my 72 duster power steering gear to replace it with a manual box. The box is from a 63 Valiant and is in excellent shape. The input shaft on the 63 box is 100 thousands wider then my 72 power gear. Does anyone know if somebody produces an adapter for the difference in the spline...

    93-95 Jeep Cherokee exhaust manifold

I've seen this thread before about fitting a Cherokee manifold. Well I finally got my hands on one of the 93-95 Cherokee drivers side manifolds to see if I can fit into my Duster. Well the answer is no. There is no way to run a pipe off of the bottom, even with a mini starter. The clearance is...

which intake? hyperpack or short clifford?

I'd be wrong about what I see??? I'm sure you have first hand knowledge about the guy running the show, Right?? You practically know the guy. All I was offering is some useful info about extra add-ons for the Slant. I've purchased many items from CliffordP over the years and I gotta say, they...

which intake? hyperpack or short clifford?

Do your homework; Check out the webpage before you assume anything. Cliffordperformance.com I'm sure Jack wouldn't be selling 1.5's for that price. I don't think that I'm imagining what I see.

which intake? hyperpack or short clifford?

I have used the Clifford intake with nice results.I attached a 390 Holley. The hyperpak is way longer and it will definitely be a problem with cold weather. You could make a waterbox to attach to the bottom for heat, with some home fabrication. Of course the hyperpak looks cooler and retains a...

mp3 hook up in stock radio?

I've been seeing a lot of old vintage Stock radios on Ebay with MP3 hookups installed. Does anyone know how to hook up the wires inside the radio. It appears that it is simply a small headphone jack. Please advise.

    Winter time model building thread.

Here is a sweet model box that I found at the local thrift store last week. When I spotted the lid, I knew that I had to have it. Of course there was a Chevy inside the box, so I removed the lid and used it as a tray for a couple smaller items.

I have a 87 318 roller lifter engine with a Comp cam xe268 cam in it with the Comp supplied lifters. Can I simply swap out the Comp lifters and install my newly acquired OEM roller lifters for this block? Also, yes I have the factory short pushrods and the steel spider. Will this setup work o.k...

Here is a good couple shots of a frame I have here. I colored silver near the holes for the bolts. A small 1/4" drive ratchet with an elbow helps a lot for the 2 most outside nuts.

    Side Impact Duster...

The backseat of a Dart should be the same size. This backseat offers about 1.25inch of wiggle room on the bottom. The top half fits like it were made for the car. Actually, the top was a folding 2 piece design 60/40 but I had to make a plate to attach the 2 halves as the back rest has the 2...

    Side Impact Duster...

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I pulled these from a 98 Volvo S70. I was sitting in the car out at a local yard and started thinking...hmm..... I bet this whole set will fit my Duster. Upon bringing them home I started the mock up. They were a lot of work to get the perfect fitment...

    Side Impact Duster...

Finished my install of the new Volvo interior I bought from the local wrecking yard, into my 72 Duster. I know the Mopar purists are going to hate me, but the interior is very comfortable. Plus the front seats come with Side Impact airbags installed. They have a mechanical primer so during...

    Used exhaust install question?

Just finished my exhaust a couple months back. If the piping is in pieces then you can fit it with everything in its place. The 2.5" kit that I bought from Jeg's has the break in the piping at the top of the hoop over the axle. So I could simply piece it together, then weld. Its tricky going...
