    72 Demon Arm Rests Question

I suspected that might be the case. Oh well, I'll order the right ones and swap them out. Fortunately, they're easy to find and even easier to replace. Thanks for the clarification :)

    72 Demon Arm Rests Question

Posted my Demon on Facebook and someone pointed out that the rear armrests were on the front.... I ordered "front arm rests" and the bold pattern and bases fit perfectly. They have the ashtrays. Were the armrests with ashtrays only in the rear? The dealer "facts and features manual" wasn't clear.

    Low end build, sound deadening.

I used the reflective to insulation from Lowe's. Made templates out of cardboard then cut out each piece to prevent waste. Used it under the headliner and under the carpet. Used 3M spray and adhesive. I was really happy with the result. Cheap and worked. Car is quiet and comfy...well, as quiet...

    Wings and scoops..pic

I kind of agree with you about the wing on a Dart, although my Demon technically is a Dart haha. I agree about the scoops color too. There was no way I was putting that dual snorkel on without the blackout treatment and hood stripes. Those are the kind of details that change the look of the car.

How do I install this emblem??

TimsGT, thanks! Year One sent the crappy back plate-style ones with the emblem. I'm not sure the barrel nuts will fit the diameter of the holes, but I'll pick some up and give it a whirl. 69_340_GTS, it's a '72. I haven't found hardly any info at all on this, so that's some good direction. I'm...

    Wings and scoops..pic

Best thread ever, I'm a huge Dart fan. Wings and scoop pictures are almost as good as a freshly pulled draft beer. This is my '72 Demon. I just got it back from the body shop last week. New paint, stripes, wing and snorkel. It didn't come with the sport trunk, but all have the same bracing so...

How do I install this emblem??

Just got the "Dart" decklid emblem in from Year One for my '72 Demon. First of all, there's a promo code you use when checking out online "10FGS" that's supposed to give 10% off, but gave me $10 off instead (wooohooo)....so, y'all should look into that if there's something you need from that...

    [ATTENTION] Secret Santa 2015 Signup

Clearly Mopar girls can read each other's minds. The awesome sign I got pretty much sums up how I feel about my tools (back away from the ratchet...slowly...and no one gets hurt). This is going on the shop wall next to my wrench sets. I also got the exact keychain I had been planning to...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

*writing all that down now* It's a 318. Auto trans, I think. I'm going to roll over there at lunchtime to see what they'll do on those items. They're usually pretty kind to me.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

hahaha, I actually need those screws myself. Can you suggest anything else? The car is already spoken for, so I can really only sweet talk the odds and ends out of them, but every little bit helps.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

That's a good idea. Will do. The seats are really nice. In fact, everything is. I just feel so bad taking apart such a nice car, even if it's not a super desirable one.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, it really is. Most of those parts won't fit my Demon, but I plan to pull as many as I can anyway before they ship the big stuff (doors, hood, etc) overseas and crush the rest. Someone out there can use them and the prices on mopar repro parts can be downright painful.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning, y'all. Got my coffee and a looong day of gainful employment ahead of me. I'd rather be digging around in the junkyard. There's a 75 Coronet at the local u-pullit waiting to be dismembered and the large parts sent overseas. Sad, bc it's in lovely all original shape. At least, I've...

    Ground straps go where?

You guys are awesome!! Ran the 10 guage from the intake→firewall. Already had the battery→drivers side. Installed a new VR and scraped the bejesus out of it plus broke the paint around the firewall holes (new paint job). Still need to ground the gas tank and probably the gauge panel...

So, what's your biggest dummy moment??

There was a 71 Ventura at the local U-Pullit that was in really nice condition and perfect for the husband's 69 Nova project. "I wanna strip it! I love the junkyard!!" Pulled every part I could think of (even the subframe). The one thing he really needed was the driver's front fender well. I...

Newbie, first project- 1972 Demon 340. Bought the car with a newly rebuilt engine installed, but I want to make sure everything is grounded properly. Not going to lie, those electrical diagrams are hard to read lol. Please help! Where should there be ground straps on the car? Lengths? How...

So, what's your biggest dummy moment??

I just overtightened my valve covers on cork gaskets (came with the car, not my choice) and I know better!! Now I have a mess on my nice clean block. :banghead: Got me to thinking about the other genius moments I wouldn't normally own up to and they're pretty funny. So, what are you're best?
