i had it up to change a flat tire now it wont start or turn over unless i hit the gas pedal.

I have a dual point i am rebuilding for my 273, my understanding is that the commando valve covers that i am going to re-wrinkle paint wer basically supposed to match the cast iron dizzy. Should i just paint the dizzy black or wrinkle pant it the same as the valve covers?
