I have a 47 Desoto conv, had a flathead 6 in it, but with the fluid drive trans, it had a rough time pulling the heavy conv. So I put a 68 plymouth 318 in it, with a 904 tranny.Went in pretty easy used 65 cuda exhaust manifolds, and made my own mounts. Had to offset the engine a smidgen. Glad I...
What can I use to stop moisture from forming in and around my 65 cuda? It is stored in a Shelter logic round top shelter. Had a good share of it last season. Thanks for any info.
I am installing a lokar shifter on a 1968 904 trans. The lokar has a switch with 2 wires and the stock has just one. How do i connect the lokar switch so the car will start. Thanks
Any ideas on how to fix tranny oil pan leak on my 904? I have changed the pan gasket 3 times and still leaks. What is better cork or rubber? What kind of sealant should I use, I have tried a lot of them. Just looking for suggestions Thanks, Stoke

Don't know how many they have left, you will have to check. Good Luck
I took a 47 Desoto convertible in worse shape, into a daily driver. THere are parts out there you just have look a little. The flathead head six with fluid drive is no speed wagon. That is why I replaced mine with a 68 Plymouth 318, with a 904. Check out Desoto.org the National Desoto Club. They...
Does anyone know where I should start to find the cause of the speedometer needle, on my 65 Barracuda, going nuts ? It goes all over the place, Just asking opinions before I jump into it. Thanks.
I need a diagrahm of the wiring for a windshield washer switch for a 65 Cuda. I have a complete wiring diagrahm already, but it doesn't have the washer switch on it. Being it was an option, I suppose. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks
This is kinda of a stupid question, but what side of the exhaust gasket goes toward the block? The plain side or the silver side ? I got a set of felpros, for 318 Plymouth.
Now that I have the coupler tight , What order do they go back in ? Do you put the coupler on the power steering chuck, then install the column, or on the column first then push onto the chuck? thanks
I just found the problem, I had the shoes in the wrong way. Guess I should always try the obvious first. Looks like it should work well. Thanks Longgone for the input. Stoke
I just wanted to get everything as tight as possible before I put everything back in. Then I will go from there and check the rest of the suspension farther down the line. Guess I will just throw the power steering chuck and the column back in and see how it is all together we'll see how it...
I got a new power steering unit but it is not not in yet. The column is out of the car and I am just prefitting everything before I put everything back together Do you think it will tighten up when I fill it up with grease and tighten the set screw?
I forgot to say I have power steering. I have the repair kit in but it still has play. I cant believe that the shoe setup on the couplers could ever get real tight.
How tight should the steering coupler be to the steering shaft, should it have any wiggle to it ? I cant seem to get it to be without movement I wouldnt think it should have any. But I dont know. You would think even a little movement would transfer to a lot at the steering wheel. Kind of a...
Hey kcoyle youre coupler looks like mine and I cannot find any rollpin small or large on mine. I was just wondering if you finally found any on yours and where were they? Thanks
