    removing paint from plastic.

    nylon stripper brush drill attachment, similar to wire brush drill attachment but bristles are nylon with an abrasive in every strand. Does not damage just removes old finish!

    Seat I.D.

    They look like seats that were in my 1979 pontiac, phoenix LJ. Could kick my *** for selling it way back in the day for 500 dollars. Back then it was just an old tired car until i saw a similar car a couple of years back at a car show. can't find a pic now will post when i see it.

    Are 70-72 A-body bench seats the same?

    there are slight variations head rests, etc but the seat bolt holes line up on all of them.

    Depends on the speed you will be going. Usually 11.49 or quicker requires a five point harness and for convertibles 13.49 or quicker.

    72 scamp interior trim question

    In the first pic you can see the rear window trim and the next shows the seat bealt clip but the clothing hook isn't really visible.

    A good shop vac should do the trick, then a light wash with warm water with mild soap.

    Fiberglassing

    I've seen it done, doesn't seem too hard, just make sure your mold that you make fits nicely where the dask will sit, or you will just end up with a big headache.

    I agrre with Jack, satin paint on the dash, and some type of upholstery on the package tray. I have seen I have see padded (diamond shapes) black leather upholstery on one and it looked smokin'

    Headliner bow removal

    Removed the liner front and back from the metel teeth that hold it. Then the bows will bend down slightly to let you take each end of the bow out of their holders. The last bow at the mack of the car will have two or three wires connected from the bow to the roww to hold them in the proper...

    I am not sure I tried this too, there must be a trick to it. I am not using them just want to remove the good head rests from my oparts car to sell.

    If you cant find high back abody buckets and you dont mind doing some fabrication work the Aspens had some high back buckets that were decent as well.

    Definately the black door panels! Thats a lot of white dash though. Maybe a black ashtray and glovebox door.

    Sugestions and tips on working on my Guage cluster/dash

    You can fab a piece cut from an old dask then use a good bonding agent, sand access boning agent down then prime and paint.

    What are these?

    I believe as everyone else has stated Jack, rear sill plates to hold I removed some rusted pieces when I disassembled the swinger that look like these but with big holes!

    Removing paint w/o melting plastic???

    briankaplan is right on the money brake fluid will bubble paint offf of anything and will not damage the plastic in the least!!
