I ended up useign a bunch of tie straps to get the cable to clear the glass but how did the factory achive this? There no place to put in an eyelet that I could see.

I don't think the year one scoops come with the bezels do they? The PG/BEA ones do

Sorry I mis-read that thinking if you had to drill holes in the hood not the scoop. The scoop is 100% ready to rock as far as that goes, just install the studs holes are already drilled.
