    1974 J6

http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/staff/dimaio/mopars_and_more/chips.html That's what I found...it shows J6 as being sassy grass green in 71. Then in 74 it shows it as the avocado gold.

    Floor pan,74 Duster

There is a thread somewhere in the resto section...you could buy a full pan from AMD when they come out. Or else you could buy half pans from Auto Body Specialties(not out yet, I'm on a list of people who they will call when they do though). Either way it is about time that they start producing...

    PG Classic Hood Scoop

Hmm, well mine honestly looks identical to the PPG one posted in the ebay auction. I posted some pics a few days ago in general chat. I don't know seems like a nice and sturdy piece to me. I guess we will see when body time comes. Also I just went to check to make sure and mine is pre-drilled...

    PG Classic Hood Scoop

I think that go-mango would look sweet, I mean how often do you see it? I just like it for the uniqueness factor.

    Por 15 ????

Use what you think will be best for you...I personally plan on trying the rust converter (http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=15974&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=373&iSubCat=374&iProductID=15974), try to remove as much possible using a wire weel, then using the spray can...

    Por 15 ????

That and eastwood are some of the best stuff as far as rust encapsulators go. The nice thing about the eastwood stuff is that you can get it in a spray can.

GF7 Green Demon and Duster Pics Wanted.

Here is my duster, it is F-8 but there isn't really much of a difference at all between the two. I think I am either keep it dark green (forest green) with white stripes, or make it an intense blue like my avatar...I really like the color of my brothers jetta. But it will be a while before this...

    '73 Duster side moldings

Well, I am pretty sure mine had that, previous owner took them up. Though there are no holes and there is adhesive stuck on the side of the car. So I am taking an educated guess in saying that it is just adhesive.

    hood advice

Yeah it is more of a hemi scoop, dunno why I called it a six-pack lol, oh wait because that is what he said it was, the first pic he sent it was standing up and it was hard to tell. Anyway what do you think about it.

    hood advice

Yeah, I love the six-pack hood, and at the price he is offering it is a good deal. Just wished he lived a little closer, also the thing is I am having my friend do the body wok and I gave him a 98 explorer with a blown tranny. So as long as I have the sheet metal he is going to do the welding...

    hood advice

Alright, well my dad really wants me to get a dual snorkel hood for my duster, needless to say they are a bit pricey(like 300$ for just a fiberglass scoop, I would rather put that 300 into my body which really needs it). But I found the 6-pack hood on craigslist for sale pretty cheap. It is a...

    need new floors...

Gave them a call earlier and they said that they couldn't really tell me when. So I'm not sure, I would like the floors in by next spring so that I could drive it next year. So I might just try to make some templates or find a donor car. Thanks for your help!

    need new floors...

I'll be on the look out! Thanks, it would just be so much simpler just to cut everything out and start new...my dad kept telling me he thought he saw one on tv, like on two guys garage or something. How long would you think until these hit the market?

    need new floors...

Alright, so I knew I needed at least just front and rear pans before I decided to take the rubber mats and seats out...to my horror it is much worse than I thought. I already have the front pans (got a good deal from someone I know...75$ for both), but my best bet would be to go for a full floor...

    Worst bodyshop ever

Wow I feel bad for that kid, his 30k car ruined by some brain dead employee. I could have painted that better with rattle cans...

    Need a good laugh??

Well GL, you can do it! My friend bought a rough dart...while replacing the rear quarter he found steel wool, and newspaper packed in there lol...anyway gl again.

    New floors

Well I got the same surprise! Except when I lifted my rubber floor mats (which probably just held the moisture better) guess how annoyed I was when I saw the frame right there! I would suggest anywhere such as goodmark or auto body specialties. They are all really decent quality, meaning they...

    Scamp front end conversion

Anyone know if a/c glass and dash are worth a bit more? I guess this scamp has an ac dash and glass.

    Scamp front end conversion

Wow thanks a lot :), you certainly helped me a lot. From what the seller says it is "an all plymouth 72 front end conversion" on the scamp. So everything would be there for me. I am happy to hear no fabrication...not enough time and I do not have a welder. I know I could rent one but that would...

    Scamp front end conversion

After reading into a conversion a bit more, I have read that there might be some fabrication of brackets...but for what I am a little confused on, would anyone be willing to help me with this? Or would this be different since I am not putting a dart front end on it? Since it is another plymouth...

    Scamp front end conversion

Ok, I just realized how different just by comparing pictures, I personally find the dart front end to look more agressive and would love to have that, but I suppose that would be a pretty pricey conversion...I don't know whether I dare to do the conversion or not, afraid of finding unwanted rust...

    Scamp front end conversion

Also how much different is a dart front end to a scamp front end? I can see that it has a different bumper and has a something under the bumper that looks something like some kind of valence. How do the fenders compare? If I wanted to put those dart components on it in the future would they fit...

    Scamp front end conversion

Yeah, I wouldn't try to ship them...shipping would be more than the part. Thanks a lot for your quick response! I really appreciate it. Tim.

    Scamp front end conversion

Well it is a 73 scamp, but it has a 72 front end conversion on it :). Hence the extra 73 hood that would come with it. But I figured if I got it I would take the front end, and dash pad. Part out the rest...I guess from what the guys says it is a solid car, It just was hit bad in the front end...

    Scamp front end conversion

Well, I have a 1973 Duster, and was considering selling it to get an earlier year, or if this one had too much work to do....but I found a possible donor car on craigslist. It is a scamp for 200$, no anything really just shell and frame. Does it require much work? I mean does it need any welding...

    Remove Undercoating

I have definitely heard of people doing this but when I told my dad he looked at me like I had two heads. I would imagine that this would be a good solution. It would wash off easy, and prevent rust/rot on the floors.

    more sassy grass

I don't really care about correctness. That color combo really does make it look mean. It is also unique, I mean you can see a lot of darts with blacked out hood treatment (but usually painted scoops) I like your blacked out ones. You might have to tell me the type of paint you used on the hood...
