Guys, I'm doing a mild 360 build on a budget so the specs will all be pretty OEM but I'd like to put in a mild cam. What lift and duration would be best suited with stock length push rods, valves, and lifters? 77 la block and heads. I run a weiand intake and 650 4 bbl carb.Thanks Clark

took nearly 1/16" of play out of the accelerator pump arm adjustment... hopefully it corrects the issue but I didn't have time to drive it today to check (stupid job got in the way!). It now has a snug .015" gap as per the video. Thanks again!

I have it pushed back as far as it will go at WOT with very little movement. My linkage runs apparell with the valve cover after a bend was needed in the arm. I can't get it to down shift under hard acceleration either. I might have to play with it to get it right. As far as the accellerator...

Oh if it makes a difference.... I'm running the stock LA 318 heads with a stock cam. timing is about 5* advanced... vacuum reads 20 on the dial.

So, at WOT the linkage should push down 1/8 to 1/4" at the rear? Will the spring just keep the linkage "floating" when at curb idle?

Just put my new 4 bbl intake and carb on and I need some help with the kick down linkage on my 904. Should this be all the way forward, half way, or all the way back on the stud? Meaning, the slot on the arm of the linkage. Thanks, Clark

Flywheel looked good when I checked it out during the tear down two months ago. Its a 318 with a NAPA brand stock replacement. The inspection plate is on. I am leaning towards a bad starter. Relay is also new.

Got it to fire. Had to move all the plug wire one spot counter clockwise on the cap. Now my only issue seems to be a cooling issue.... my upper radiator hose gets super hot and the lower is cold. Does that sound like a thermostat not opening up or my pump isn't pumping?

Alrighty, I just put it all back in. The timing is set at top dead center with the ditributor rotor set at plug 1. I have spark and fuel. She'll turn over but she won't fire. Anything anyone can think of I might be overlooking?
