When you get that cylinder out throw it away.It is worn beyond repair.One of the biggest problems is with keys that have shallow cuts in them ,especially near the head. You most likely have a tumbler wedged sideways in the tumbler hole.

I had to bend my turn signal arm to fit.Not sure if that is your problem or not.2 thoughts on bending it,some say you need to heat it some say just bend away.I was a little cautious and heated it first.8)

If you have a locking glove box a locksmith can make you a key for your trunk from the glovebox lock,as long as the trunk lock has not been changed.8)
