360, 11.25 cr, ported J’s, solid ft cam, ported 6 pack intake with the old hustle stuff mechanical carbs.

Good, drives nice, flashes at about 4,400 rpm. Stock stroke.

+2” Espo, console auto, with 9” dynamic converter, bolt in sprag, and a few other mods.

After 23 years of street brawling she’s a little worn and tired! Time to give her some love.

My 71 demon 340 came with front drums, buddy of mine has a K/H sbp setup with rebuilt calipers, new rotors the spindles, and upper control arms. . I know I’ll need a manual disc/drum master, new wheel bearings, probably a adjustable proportioning valve. Anything else I’m missing? Is this stuff...

Never thought about the bowls but I guess your correct about them being one offs. My setup works fine in a warm 360.

The DC aftermarket carbs were developed by holley and ford for fords 351 nascar program. they flow more than the original 6 pack mopar or chevy carbs. about 1050 to 1100 cfm.

Germany is fantastic, i was in a smaller town built in the 1600's and it was fun.

original 340 block is safe under my work bench, I've owned it close to 32 years :eek:

Said to be purchased from Bettenhousen dodge new, previous owner history back to 1972, kind of a high option, ruff street brawler survivor, strong 360 with the old Direct connection mechanical 6 pack carbs. Only filter that will work and also be able to close the hood is the ford tri power...

The red one doesn't seem to far off price wise, the standard dash would bother me, but its a 4 speed and has $3,000 + 6 pack setup. A lot of guys haven't realized what has happened to 71 demon prices ! let alone a real 71 demon 340 if one can be found.

I use to work at a suzuki shop, if it's stock I would just pull them out and clean them out , check float levels, make sure tank and petcock are clean and you have clean air filters to start.

Make sure you do valve adjustments as called for, and trans fluid change outs. my wifes 01 has 198K but needed a trans at 175K

Wow, my thought is to just refund the money if someone is not happy. I've sold over a hundred things on here, ebay, and other sites never had one incident (knock on wood). For under say $100 or so it's not worth my headache, then again I sell mostly to help someone out and add a little spending...
