    Bastard 4 door 64 440 Resto

I had a 64 330 slant car, couldn't kill it 'til my buddy hit a telephone pole with his 64 Hemi car. He bought my junker, torched the front clip off of it and left the rest in my driveway. Some friend huh? Your car looks great, nice work.

The Scamp's engine, trans and steering are in place

Yeah, I'm ate up with the small block. lol They aren't real popular and were even less popular when I first built it. I had a 500 horse 440 that I was contemplating putting in the Duster when I first got it but then somebody told me I couldn't run 10's with a smallblock Chrysler so of course I...

The Scamp's engine, trans and steering are in place

I'd like to be able to run mid to high 9's in the 1/4, low 6's in the 1/8. The car actually isn't that much lighter than my Duster, only about 450 pounds lighter. Considering it still has all the factory glass and the doors are still steel and the windows still roll up and down I don't think...

The Scamp's engine, trans and steering are in place

The Scamp has now made one full pass down the quarter mile. It will need some tuning but hooks extremely well, goes straight and stops and handles like it should. I made one 60 ft pass off the foot brake, one 330 pass off the transbrake with a two step at 3000 rpm's and then I screwed up the...

My boss keeps telling me he can get Sherwin Williams to donate the paint and I already have the stripe, got it from ChallengerGary. I'll let you know when I'm going out, lately there hasn't been many cars at OSW on Wed. and Fri. nights because they opened a new 1/8th mile track for the import...

Sorry Jeff, I certainly know the feeling. I lost my 2 Boxers within months of each other before I got my current dog. I've had her for almost 8 years now and have become very attatched to her and her to me. I think she'll be alright but we don't really know yet.

    Adams 71 Dart

I got my front and rear window gaskets from Steele Rubber Products and a new windshield from a local company. The gaskets were 122.00 each and the windshield 190.00 installed. The glass guy just raved about how nice and soft the gaskets were, made the whole job go easier and in fact he didn't...

The Scamp's engine, trans and steering are in place

Thanks for the kind words. The way things are right now it will probably stay in the from the fiery pits of Hell wardrobe it is wearing now for at least the next year. I'd like to paint it a pale yellow with a flat black hood and bumble bee stripe across the back like Adam's car. But it will...

The Scamp's engine, trans and steering are in place

It's been a long time coming but the Scamp is ready for shakedown passes. I just need to get it to the shop so I can align the front end. Unfortunately my dog has needed unexpected and expensive medical care last week. Some kind of neurological problem causing some facial muscles to not respond...

The Scamp's engine, trans and steering are in place

Yeah, I qualify for sure. lol Thanks again for the kind words. The engine is a MP 360 high compression short block that's had main studs added and ARP rod bolts. It was all balanced and the pistons cut for valve clearance. I can't remember how deep I cut them but the top of the piston is only...
