    383 Radiator and Fan

Factory spacer on a big block A-Body is .70 inches. That is with a factory style radiator and 614 fan shroud. As long as your fan is 3/4" back from the radiator it will work well even without a shroud...

1967 Plymouth Barracuda 383 radiator hoses

I have one of each A-Body 383 radiator for 67, 68, and 69 and can not find a difference in the openings in the upper and lower tanks, so the 68-69 should work. I do know the shroud is different for 67 though...

Had a weird one yesterday with a blower motor

Got a 2010 Cummins 3500 and a 2015 Hemi Ram with the blower motor working when it feels like it, will run for a few minutes, shut off, then come back on minutes to hours later. The 2010 will start back up when the key is turned off for 5 minutes sometimes. I read about a resistor issue that...

    Radiator fitment

I put a 68 318 B-Body radiator in my 68 Dart and it was 23" tall if I remember correctly. I had to use a flat radiator cap and the hood barely closed, so I believe it is doable. Is it a factory radiator and if so what are the numbers on the top tank?

I have tons of A-Body A/C stuff I am getting ready to either sell cheap or junk, sold my building so that kinda stuff takes up to much room to store now. Radiator dimensions abody vs bbody

I have had several 68 318 b-body radiators (2898038) in 67-69 A-Bodies. They are taller so you need to use a flat radiator cap, and drill new holes in the core support to bolt the radiator in, but it does work.

What are the rest of the late model (73 & Up) folks doing for radiators?

They went to 26" wide radiators then instead of 22". Just have yours fixed, Bob and Glen-Ray will tell you NOT to put an aluminum radiator in it, the one you have is fine, just get it rodded out or recored...

1969 Barracuda 383 Cold Case Radiator

The lower connection has to go all the way as far as it can go to the edge of the radiator. None of the aftermarket radiators get it right, I don't know why people still use them, just recore your original. If you don't want to, and it is a 2949065 PM me and I will buy it...

Incorrect fan shroud on my 1967 Dart 318?

38806 and 33066 are manufacturer numbers, the 67 273 radiator is 2785970, 971, 973, or 975 depending on what combination of heater and A/C or automatic or manual trans. The fan shroud number is 2785312 and is almost impossible to find, it was also used on 67 383 A-bodies. The 2898614 shroud will...
