Speaking from past experience.......Bring plenty of shade with you for the pits. There can be some lengthy delays between passes. You will need a good portable radio to tune in to the tracks station. And please don`t forget to ........GO ON YELLOW!!!

Normally don`t run an air cleaner. That is on there for traveling down the road on a trailer. Forgot to take it off.

No squished dipstick or dented radiator. Smooth installation.

Finally got the 360 in today. Not running yet. I still have to hook up a few more things. Planning on being at MATS!! (I know the engine bay is black, it`s a race car) I got the torque conv. amd flex plate issues worked out. The Hooker 5204`s are a tight fit, but they fit!!

In the background you see my 66 Chrysler Newport. Bone stock. Smoothest riding car I have ever owned. A real attention getter.

I will keep my eyes open for that one.

Forgot to add a couple of things. It`s getting connected to a Hughes 3000 stall convertor, 904 and 8.75 with 742 case and 4.30`s on a spool. This should be fun.

Everyone is entitled to the opinions. I feel our build willl be OK. It will be in the car Tuesday and hopefully running at Famoso on Saturday (weather permitting). I will post time slips after the test and tune. moparlover, the E85 fuel sounds interesting. I am going to read up on that...
