The bows were used up to 69 My 70 Dart and 76 Duster both have painted cardboard. Had to fix the holes in my Dart liner and plan on covering it with leather.
Post the bows for sale or trade in classifieds. There is always some one looking for them
That carb should work fine. Piece of cake to rebuild. Might just lack a little hp on top end.
Hardest part to rebuild is getting the O rings in correct on fuel transfer tube. They make a secondary metering plate that has replaceable jets in it, makes it a lot easier to tune.
Might be able to rent on from your local machine shop or the garage where you get your cars fixed.
The 1 Ton foldable Cherry picker is $180 at Harbor Freight and you will use it more than you think http://www.harborfreight.com/1-ton-capacity-foldable-shop-crane-61858.html
Went to my local Auto Value a few weeks ago. The 3 guys I knew that had worked there for at least 15 years ago were gone. The new guys could not look up belts for a lawn mower! Went to O'Rielies and the General Manager could not cross the air filter to a Wix. It was an original Snapper. Went...
Dude it is your car. What is your favorite color? I like my B5 Blue Duster, that is my favorite color but I am painting my 70 Dart fleet white and adding metallic to the clear to make it sparkle. DUE WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY! Any thing goes with white. Post pictures.

We use this stuff at work. Is slicker than snot and looks factory when done. A small zip tie where wires come out works great and if you ever need to get to a wire or add another it is a piece of cake
When adjusting the band, tighter is not better. It needs to completely disengage to shift cleanly. The instructions in the shift kit should be adequate
Have you thought of Habitat for Humanity for some cabinets for the walls? Or a state auction for some horizontal file cabinets
I have 8 of these, Slide out and look really clean when closed
Have a friend I grew up with that still has his 70 Duster and it has Craigers on it. I always thought the chrome really made the red pop!
Have you considered headers? When I put mine on with 3" Flowmasters it made a noticeable difference. Installed the multi layer metal gaskets and have not had...
My son is a Senior at Kettering in Flint. If you are serious about being an engineer this is the place you have to go if you want to work for GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc.
He is a member of a fraternity and every graduate has started at above $60K
Nice work, keep it up.
What power plant are you running?
When looking at wheels, go with 16". You have so many more tire choices. If you have a tendency to paint stripes on the road, used ones are available.
Just got some wire loom like this at work and it is the neatest stuff and looks factory when done. Comes in different sizes and leaves you access to wires.
Nice job and car is looking great. :wav:

I have a bench in my Duster and loved it while dating and didn't mind it until I went Auto crossing. Manual steering and a bench is a beotch!
If I had to start from scratch for an engine think I would be looking for a late model hemi with and overdrive trans. Great power and totally driveable
Had a regular customer com in on a Saturday and after having his truck serviced at one of those quickie oil changes took me 2 hours, 3 filter wrenches trashed including 2 Snap On strap wrenches and a 4' cheater bar to get oil filter off
Been working on trucks [not pickups] for 30+ years. A 4lb cross pean hammer becomes your best friend. The torch striker is always in your back pocket cause that is the second tool you grab after hammer, and SAVE YOUR BACK. Being 50 and still wrenching sucks when your are in pain every day. I was...
