If I'm not mistaken the studs are available. To remove you can cut a slot in the end of the stud with a dremel to hold it still with a screwdriver. If I find where people are purchasing the studs I'll let you know.

    Dipping vs blasting

I'm lucky as there is a dipper in Cincinnati to my south and one in Toledo to the north and to the west in Indy. Living in the rust belt does have it's advantages. I'm hoping it will find all those holes as I want to make sure they get fixed before final paint.

    Dipping vs blasting

I'm wanting to get going on my 68 Barracuda. The body needs a complete repaint. Living in Ohio it's entire life it has it's fair share of rust both visible and hidden. Having stated that I'm debating on which I should look at. Having the entire car media blasted or having it dipped. My...

If you are talking about the retangular emblem between the door and the tire you may want to check out Year One. They have a lot of the emblems. Also the small one at the bottom of the fender is a Mopar pentastar. That only goes on one side, passenger, and is also available.

    Crossmember

Jeff at 521restorations sent me an E-Mail that the current ETA on those is 6-8 months. AMD just sent a batch of A body parts off to get tooling setup and that was part of the batch. They currently have these for the B & E-Bodies. These are replacement parts not caps. So according to Jeff they...

    Silicone spray on rubber?

I don't know about that particular product but I have always used silicone spray on all rubber parts. NOT WD40. The product must be silicone only, not a lubricant like WD40. Keeps the door and if you have a sun roof or T-Tops, seals soft and keeps them from dry rotting. I've used it on my wifes...

    67 barracuda fastback project

As you probably noticed many parts are interchangable. The doors, hood (inserts different), Fenders(trim different), Trunk lid. Most parts will go but there may be differences in the trim. The interior the dash looks the same but the radio is different. Door panels and seats I thinh are the same.
  29. LS-300

How do these parts come off???

Remember when trying to remove the window trim with that tool it MUST stay flat. If you try to pry and rotate the tool into the glass you can break it. Care must be taken or you will be purchasing a new windshield or back glass.

    fiberglass and metal......

Buy the fiberglass hood. That may sound harsh but in the long run you will be happier. The problem matting the 2 is they expand and contract at different rates. This will cause cracks to appear.
