Jet well boots at bottom of phenolic body need to be re-epoxyed. They are leaking.

Between the tire and leaf spring with Mopar Rallyes with 4.25" backspacing. If anyone is running combo please let me know the clearance. Thanks!

Go with the 1" over ESPO springs. Springs always settle and you can adjust your rake some with your torsion bars.

245/60R14's rear and 215/70R14's up front on my Duster. I think the backspacing is 4.25" or 4.5" for the 14x7 rallye wheels you can get from Wheel Vintiques. 14x6 are really too narrow for 245/60's.

215/70R14's 25.9" tall with 245/60R14's in back

It won't feel the same cruising in 4th gear from my experience. If you have a Thermoquad on it you can feel it more due to the larger secondaries but other carbs you really don't feel much of a kick.

Save it!!!! My old 1973 340-4spd sunroof/fold down seat Duster was just in Mopar Muscle. You would be one of about 7 people that have that combo of options.

I've got one in my 8-3/4 rear end. If you don't mind the clicking sound around slow cornering. No big deal for me.

Here's mine and they were on the car when I bought it but this is for a full bolt on fiberglass hood also.

Manual crank sunroof option first offered on A-bodies in 1973 as the previous sunroof was the rollback sunroof like VW's. You guys forgot that one! :toothy10:

That's my old Duster in Mopar Muscle magazine. Production numbers for 340 sunroof cars were pretty low but you won't find actual numbers. I had a list of owners of about 16 Duster 340 and 16 Dart Sport 340 sunroof cars.

I like mine!:-D Most of our highways are 55-65mph anyway. I had 4.10's in my old Duster340 which was a bit much for the highway I felt even though I drove 250 miles one time at 55-60mph.:-D

Probably around 2% of 73-340 cars came with sunroofs. It's rare so restore it if possible. But it doesn't mean it will be worth big $$$ though. When I had mine I had never seen one before and most everyone at the cruise and shows said they hadn't seen one or even knew they existed. Good luck!

You had all the info & stamping you needed to document that your car was an original 340 car with a broadcast sheet also. Alot of people have to replace rusted fender tags so no harm/no foul there. I hate to say this but you wasted your money on Galen. I used his service in 2001 for like $25...
