Blackhawk, What transmission is behind the 360? If it is a 904, you shouldnt have to change the tranny mount. When I swapped everything over in my Dart ( 225 to 318 ) it really didn't cost me much. The biggest expense was the motor mounts ( I went with schumacher conversion mounts).

Personnally, if they were both in the same condition and everything, I'd go for the 340.

A lot of people on here are going to tell you to go with a 360 because it will end up being cheaper. Pretty much any part you need well interchange between the two, but a good condition 360 block can normally be picked up for far less than a 340 block. I currently have a 340 in the shop for...
