Anyone Use Eastwood Internal Frame Coating on Other Areas?

I sprayed it pretty much every where i couldn't spray with a gun, in the rocker panels, in the braces that support the hood and deck lid, inside my door panels, etc. I am planning on keeping my 65 for the long haul and wanted to seal up whatever I could. I even sprayed it in the trunk on the...

Rust damage, what would you do?

I agree with everyone who stated to cut out the rust and replace with new metal...a patch panel or full qtr would be easiest. You can also spray rust encapsulator into the seams where you have no visibility to what's going on and prevent any existing rust from worsening...I have been using the...

    rechrome pricing

Watch this video, I think it explains the labor process pretty well....personally I just think the more expensive shops just spend more time on your part, which results in the better finished product...It's expensive, no doubt about that, but also sounds like you have to really spend time on it...

    rechrome pricing

I had 5 pieces in total, 4 were pot metal, which seems to be about 2x the price. ....cost me just under $1K.... yes it is expensive.....for rough ballpark estimates they told me it will be around approx $325 for 1 taillight, but cannot give an exact price until they inspect mine, which was...

    rechrome pricing

Speak of the devil....my chrome showed up today!!!! This is the first time I have gone through this process and I am really happy with the results. Everything was triple wrapped...bubble wrap / paper / more bubble wrap.. The picture of all the pieces really doesn't do them justice....so I...

    rechrome pricing

I recently sent some chrome out to advanced plating in Tennessee. I haven't gotten them back yet, but did some research before I chose them. A lot of what I found is that when it comes to chrome you get what you pay for. Also. Sounds like a 12-16 week process to have chrome work done. So plan...

What's the deal with these window regulators??

It seems like the 3 arms all needed to be bent up just right, I just had to keep playing with them and eventually it just stayed together!

What's the deal with these window regulators??

quick update, I spent a whole weekend playing with the window.....happy to say it seems to be working now...I have rolled it up and down a good 20 times and it has stayed together, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I won't have any issues with it again!

What's the deal with these window regulators??

The rear 1/4 glass on my 65 vert would not move...so I pulled it out, found the crank works fine, but the arms were all bent up...I put them back in the correct position as best I could (used the other side as a guide). Now everything lines up, but after I crank it up and down a couple of times...

65 Valiant - Help getting nylon sliders on torsion rod

It's either plastic or nylon, not sure. The torsion rod I took off the car was missing the slider all together, the one in the picture is still on the car, I just went down and looked at it and it is open at the bottom, but the new one isn't so I guess i'll have to slice it open to get it on
