That's pretty much is what I run. Back in 2001 I went with a MP forged crank and it's been fine. I never looked into it but I was told that the MP cranks back then were made by Scat.

That was the first thing I replaced when I bought my car in 2000. I use the Moroso electric pump and have never had an issue.

All I had to do on mine was take about a 1/4 inch off the lip on the pass side. Same set up as you have.

If you're gonna run a stock or close to stock motor the 340 will most likely have more compression. That will make more HP. The 360 will have more cubic inches. That's more torque. If you want to go stroker motor you can get more cubes out of a 340. They already come with more bore than a 360...
