idlers-- 68-72 , moog K7042

A-bodies 67-72, manual and power steering share the same pitman moog k7074

flip the front hangers or buy a set that have an extra hole. It may settle after awhile. Nice car!!!!!!!

this link no longer goes to A-body leafs, they changed up their numbers

youll need the centerlink and pitman from the 74 yes it bolts up

73 pitman, center link and idler are different from the way it sounds , just grab your bbp brake parts off the 73, leave the rest alone

ive used the poly lower control arm bushings several times no problem ( with rubber strut rod bushings ) I also think your problem is the strut rod bushings being too thick

I've never replaced mine, but it looks like the moog one you have pictured ( I'll post a picture of it in the car if it will help) The one on your car looks straighter, idk if theres more than one type

I stumbled across that type, AFTER, I put mine together with the other. I ended up using tie straps to hold everything up against the coupling not perfect but, it works

What year car are you working on? (just curious ) I dont know if that matters I "thought" the couplings were the same also.

you prob got something in a bind, the headers and all can be a pain in the ----, step back, chill out, take your time, you'll get it

u can find them on ebay,,most people are proud of em though theres a parts wanted section on here, somebody might have one theres firmfeel and flaming river aftermarket manual and power steering have same coupler

Im in the process of changing ps to ms the box didnt have an arm on it when I got it, sooo while its apart I"m putting a new pitman arm on thanks again!

thanks guys, im hopefully going to get it back together thurs or fri im doing the ps to ms switch redfish another person told me 32 or 34mm would work ( he couldnt remember which haha ) im going to see if i can loan one from the local parts store, then go from there

thanks,thats what i was thinking,but didnt want to run out and buy a 1 5/16 and it be 1 3/8

what size is it before i go buy a socket lol the biggest i have is 1 1/4 and that aint it looks like 1 5/16 or 1 3/8 by tape measure
