    73 pitman, center link and idler are different from the way it sounds , just grab your bbp brake parts off the 73, leave the rest alone

    ive used the poly lower control arm bushings several times no problem ( with rubber strut rod bushings ) I also think your problem is the strut rod bushings being too thick

    I've never replaced mine, but it looks like the moog one you have pictured ( I'll post a picture of it in the car if it will help) The one on your car looks straighter, idk if theres more than one type

    I stumbled across that type, AFTER, I put mine together with the other. I ended up using tie straps to hold everything up against the coupling not perfect but, it works

    Is the splined shaft on a power steering box smaller than a manual?

    What year car are you working on? (just curious ) I dont know if that matters I "thought" the couplings were the same also.

    Im in the process of changing ps to ms the box didnt have an arm on it when I got it, sooo while its apart I"m putting a new pitman arm on thanks again!

    thanks guys, im hopefully going to get it back together thurs or fri im doing the ps to ms switch redfish another person told me 32 or 34mm would work ( he couldnt remember which haha ) im going to see if i can loan one from the local parts store, then go from there

    what size is it before i go buy a socket lol the biggest i have is 1 1/4 and that aint it looks like 1 5/16 or 1 3/8 by tape measure
