Another option is to find a pinstriper in your area. I just had an up and coming young gun striper do the 1/8 and 1/16 factory stripes down the sides of my Scamp in an olive green to match the roof. I've seen them do hubcaps, license plates,etc. Grille detail should be a snap for them.

Glad it worked out for you. Last time I did it, I was changing from amber to clear lenses and wasn't worried if I broke them. That's when they never break, of course.

Carefully push in the two lock tabs on either the top or bottom. No farther then necessary. Tilt the lens out of the housing. Not necessary to push in the tabs on the other side. It should just roll out. "Should" is the key word here. Good Luck.

I had a '76 Swinger. Removed the bumperettes and painted the filler panel body color. Made a huge difference in the look of the car for very little time and money.
