Is there a source for new A/C box control cables? Looks like only one manual cable, the rest must work from the vacuum diaphragms.

The rod that secures the passenger side vent on this A/C Heater box has the hook bent at a different angle than what I am used to seeing. Usually the rod upper hook is bent 90 degrees (at least in my non a/c '65) so I was wondering if this 45 degree angle bend for the a/c box is correct or...

I don't know if the driver's side of the shroud was attached in the same manner as the passenger side so let me ask here and find out. My Formula S radiator (had factory A/C-now missing parts) has two brackets on the passenger side for the shroud. I wonder if it is missing the same style two...

The '65 Formula S still missing some of the factory A/C stuff. May need to fabricate a shroud. What does one look like, where does it attach, is it one piece or two piece, what material is it made of, original part number? Or is there a detailed thread on FABO I can reference? Thank you.

Found this thermostat housing having been installed on my '65 Formula S with '66 four barrel intake manifold and 1980 318 cylinder block. "Made in Canada" means it's going right back on the engine (P/N 3698565). Appears to be an aluminum casting the factory installed in the 1970's.

I think maybe in this case some good old-fashioned pipe dope may be the ticket, being the fact the valve will be opened/closed from time to time.

Some comments on the above valve from purchasers complain it drips at the shut-off valve.

I have a cast iron t-stat housing with a number (hard to read after sanblasting). Perhaps it is 2206083? Not really sure about the two zeros. Does the number represent a part number? Thank you.

What's a warranty void mean?

My flex-a-lite in the 70's was the "orange" high performance fan, supposedly helped lower Elapsed Times. It was a material like fiberglass. I understand it was dis-continued.

According to my metric dial calipers, the nipple on the new replacement A/C control switch is 3.35mm or 0.131889". I found a "blue" hose 3.5mm = 0.1375" (9/64" = 0.140") hose on ebay I wonder if that's it? But then again, 1/8" would be a tighter fit. 4mm hose = 0.157" 5/32 hose = 0.15625"...

Sometimes the auto parts clerks try to sell me what they have on hand, rather than the correct size hose. So I thought I would ask beforehand what size vacuum hose is used from the A/C dash control on a '65 A Body with factory air that connects to those three vacuum operated doors in the A/C...

Found an HVAC control switch on the internet OER brand for about $130.00 The image looks exactly like the factory switch.

This '65 Formula S was equipped with factory A/ C but missing most underhood parts. I was wondering how one goes about restoring the A/C in a case like this? Throw everything out and start over with a complete aftermarket system or use the Mopar A/C box and adapt it to the aftermarket parts...
