    79 300 no run?

Just a thought, You may want to pull the dash cluster and check the contacts at the ammeter gauge. if they become corroded or loose the charging system will not work properly and you will not be getting proper voltage to start.

Brake lights stay on, off when pedal pushed.

Switch may be out of adjustment. You should be able to adjust the switch so that when you let off on the brake pedal the switch will push in and close off the circuit and the lights should go out.

    Starter relay and voltage reg

Voltage regulator would mount on the inside passengers fender close to the loop that holds the heater hoses to the fender. The starter relay mounts on the drivers side inner fender behind the battery tray. Too dark to get any pictures of mine but I am sure someone out here can post a pic.

    HELP! No power...?

Check the bulkhead connector at the firewall. Also check the starter wires, the alternator connections and the ammeter gauge in the dash. Sometimes the ammeter gauge will burn out and the result is no charging and power loss.
