i had a 9.5 lupo 5000 and a 8 turbo action in my 340 and love the 8".....with a 950hp carb i may have had a little more comp. like 11.1 oh sorry now i see you have 3.91 gears ...i had 4.57 and 28/10.5 tires

i went with the biggest i could get..mounted in the front of the radiator..also when i made the change i used rubber hose easy to route anyway you want out the way..never a problem for my with a 5000 verta and drove on the street..(dynamic verta ):lurk:

go to your local advance or auto zone and get you a bump stop and just trim if needed...cheap and works mike:supz:

i dont think that most take in to acc. that the head of the stud is larger then the stud and that's what make it look like its really close to the edge.... but like you said people have been running cars like this for years.....i have a set of small bolt axles that is for sell,but everybody...

looks great ...just like my drums i have i think 3" studs as well..raced and drove it on the street that way.....

why do you say its safer??? we have a duster here (brother in law) that has the 8 3/4 axles drilled out from 4" to 4.5 and the car runs 6.20's in the 1/8mile at over 100 with 1.30 60' and no problems..moser drills them out and if it wasnt safe im sure they wouldnt do it..im just asking not pokin...

if you move the springs in and get the right offset wheels you can get a good 10" tire on there witha 10" rims i had my duster the same way but took the big wheels and tires back off i had m/t 29/10.5w slicks on 10" rims and 5" backspace..just didnt like the look of all that big tire witha a...

ive got a 9.5 dynamic verta thats 5000 and it drives on the street fine with no problem..also had the same cam in a 340 with iron heads mild work and 4.57 and 28/10.5 m/t slick went 7.44 in the 1/8 mile and just clear the wheels ...they work great imho but thats just me...mike

from my understanding as long as it not a heavy car, or being t-braked it should be ok for some time.so guys say they have been in the 9's with them and no problem...i have 2 and im doing a big block looking to make about 750/800 if i can and will use 1 unless i get a great deal on a dana..also...

how often do most change the fluid in there strip cars....my fluid has been in the car about 5yrs but only about 30 passes total....also has any gone to a low gear set in the 727 instead of doing the 904, if so what diff. did you see any mph,60' changes8)

I had a set that was drilled let my brother in law use them in his 73 duster with a 451 Herb M. motor with ladder bars car would 1.4 something 60' and run 6.60/6.70 never a problem still in the car today......

hay all I tried the key thing and I got 2 codes now I hope I can get this thing fixed the first code was p1491 and the 2 code was p0700 and then it said done...... what do I need to do to fix this sorry for the problems but I need to fix this ..thanks
