just looked over at summit and you should be able to use the same retainer.. and locks...i think it was 1.50 inside and 6.90 outside on both springs..:D

if i remember right that 995 spring is pretty tough spring had them on my 555 lift comp cam..484 is a long way from there and prob. wont work well.. but i may be wrong.. i have a set of the 901-16 here for cheap if they will work for you..

make you a tq. strap... i used a big turn buckel on my 360/4 speed cuda when i had it.. bolt it to the front of the block on driver side and to the k frame right under the mount .. the 1 i had had a j hook on 1 end and a bolt hole on the other end.. i used the j hook on the k frame.. you can use...

All I use is the back hi temp permatex never a leak.but thwre are lots of guys that cut them because they are warped or just bemt.it makes it a little easy to work each tube.

i have a set of j heads i will sell for 400.00 been ported and ready to go..

i use the big needle type and fill them maybe 2 or 3 time and your done...

i always like to coat my head gaskets with copper coat while i have them off just for the added protection from leaks and what not...:cheers:

hey mike i know this is the small block section but i have a big block ????..will this work in a unbushed block?????if so about whats the limit on the lift??? i know it all needs to be check and the core shift stuff but do you have any idea on how much lift????? thanks and glad to see more parts...

whats the casing # that are in the heads????should be by the valve springs...then you can know what you have...

when i ran me 340 it had 200 and i would run 36/38 toiming but my dizzy was locked out..i could run pump gas when i pull it down to 32 but you sure could tell it.. i was running a comp 282xs cam soild...at the track ran 110:D

anyone run a good shoot of nos on the kb piston???? lookin at maybe 100/150 no more...got enough parts to put a good little 360 tog. for the 73 dart swinger that we have.. all thats needed is a block machined and rings/bearing we we have all the other parts.. also let hear what kinda power this...

i may not be much help but when i filed my rings i did spray the cylinders with wd 40 and then i walked the ring into the bore and squared them and took my reading...when i say walked i mean i put 1 end in the bore and pushed it down until it was in all the way around hope this helps mike

i made a stop out of a old plug and some treaded rod......

there was a test done before i forgot who did it but they tested alot of timing chains and most where out on the marks....when i did my cam before it had to buy the offset keys ...

i use to run 7/8 psi on my duster im not to up to speed on the eld. carbs...but you could try and turn it up just a little at a time a see. what reg. and pump you running also does the gauge have the fluid init??? if so you may want to drill a samll hole in the back a drain that out it can cause...

what carb is on it????? could be running out of fuel my car was doing it about mid track last yr. and went to check things over and carb was running out of fuel.....i had a dp on it though....mike
