i installed the new steering box and the pitman arm (1976 model). torqued the nut (with split washer) to 180 ft lbs. there is about an inch between the top of the pitman arm (on the shaft end) to the bottom of the steering box. my 67 arm has a bit less space than this meaning it looks like...

can anyone tell me if the actual power steering gear box is the same for a 67 dart GT 225 /6 as a 76 dart Swinger 318? the bolt holes line up and the steering col seems to fit (at least temporarily). the pitman arms on the boxes are shaped differently. my 67 pow steer gear box is good but...

FINALLY got the headers, starter and power steering box all in and all bolts in. no idea how to torque the poer steering box nuts to spec as i can barely get a wrench on them nevermind a tq wrench so i just whomped on em as best i could. if those things loosen and somehow manage to fall...
