    Kick down question

I am a part of a derby forum as well, and asked the same question, and one guy said for derbies he ties it 2/3 back, but he's not sure of circle track. I will try and get it to 2/3 back, I think it would be better than forwards, and all the way back might be too much. Any other advice would be...

    Kick down question

I have a 1975 cordoba hit to pass car and I have a kick down linkage question. In the past I have driven ford and Chevy. On Chevy's everyone removes the kick down linkage. We drive on a 1/4 mile circle track and I manually put the car in first gear and rarely shift into second. My...

    360 or 318 torque converter

I don't know how a TC works, but a Flywheel has holes drilled out of it to counter balance. 318 fly has no holes, and 340-360 has holes on the back. It may be better to find part #'s because all TC's may have wheights. Sometimes you have to add wheights to make something neutral. I would...

    360 Flex Plate

if your engine is internally ballanced, you might be able to use a 318 one. But don't quote me on that. I was able to use a 318 flywheel on my internally ballance 440. Ask around, it might work for you. Phil 360's are externally balanced, what did you do to the engine?

    Weird Vibration!

It sounds much harder than it should be. I have a couple manual 3 spd tannys at home, I unbolted the speedo gear, and the 5 bolts around the tail shaft housing, and the tail shaft housing slid right off with no problem. I don't see why it would be different for a four spd, I should be able to...

    Weird Vibration!

I am leaning more towards somthing in the tail shaft of the tranny. The reason being is that when I arrived home I checked under the car. ( I was away for two days) and there is some fluid that leaked out of the tail shaft. Do you guys know what the name is for that sleave? is it a tail shaft...

    1973 Plymouth Duster NEWBIE!!

Looks like you have most of your answers. You should be able to do the shifter swap with ease if you are going with an after market shifter. Just purchase it, install it, then romove it, and send it for paint. as far as the colum goes, it does look kinda goofey if you have a colum shift on a...
