Pretty sure b body manifolds work ok.

Did my build over 7 years ago. Got numbers mixed up. I originally bought an 11 and it didn't fit well with the under chassi headers. The. Bought a 10.5. Got my 10's and 11's mixed up in previous post...corrected now.

You might not know until you start to mock up. All I know is I had a bunch of people say my 1970/6 stealing linkage will be fine, yet I had to swap the linkage out for 73 v8 linkage for it to work Phil

I used a stock 11.5 inch bell housing I believe on my 440 4 spd. I think it was 11.5 anyways. I know I used a stock 318 flywheel. Don't know about scatter shields. Think it could also depend on motor mounts or motor plate. I think you might be able to use a bigger bell with motor plate...

I would do big block again. and I don't understand why people complain so much on the build. Its not all that hard, just not a direct bolt in. minor modifications are needed. I have not and NEVER would do fender well headers. Take no offence, but fender wells look disgusting to me. 440 4...

X2, unless you rotate the joints maybe? had the same issue with my 440 build...only hit when turned wheel all the way one way. had to change centre from /6 to V 8 I would redo motor plate.

What size bell housing? That was my mistake when I was building my car. I bought the bigger bell and it wouldn't clear parts of the car...you are having a diff issue, but might have 130 fly in a larger bell.

Yes it will work. Did it in my car. Can give link to build if you like. Bell housing you are limited if using motor mounts and mechanical clutch.

Above is probably the best none opinionated advice. There have been many other comments that Seam fitting as well. If your putting a built BB in the car, your probably not going to tell the difference between the two headers when your driving it. If you need to shave every tenth of a second...

if it is motor mounts you need to buy new clutch linkage from brewers performance. you will also need the A833 4 spd. 10'5 inch flyweel/ clutch with 10.5 inch bell housing. get an A body 4spd though. your tranny cross member will work fine. if your engine is in the car with motor...

Sorry, I ment to say headers. I automatically think mounts when someone says schumacher. anyways....as other fabo members have posted...It can be done with Schumachers. Thats iall I was saying. And yes...you were wrong, you can use Mech linkage!!!! ;)

I think this is the same pad that is on my car, but not the motor home...bOn my car's 440 it is more to the center drivers side of the front of the engine, above the water pump. Same pad, you are talking about, or different? Phil

You couldn't be more wrong, My 1970 duster 440 4spd has schumacher mounts, and I used mechanical linkage. Motor mounts are not in the way at all. The Tranny Z bar plate is an inch or so back and down with the BB bell, so you need a different plate, and Z bar. Nothing that couldn't be made up...

I can'r help you out with your question, But Have you tried Brewers performance? They were a big help to me. I didn't buy my bell t6hrough them, but I did buy other parts and found them helpfull. are you using motor mounts or motor plate? and fenderwells, or underchassi? Phil
