I just put new Cragars on the 67 Cuda..........fronts are small bolt, backs are big bolt.......Fronts take 7/16" studs.....but all of the big bolts take 1/2"......I don't think there are any exceptions............

Now, I'm correct on the rear 8-3/4, right? They are 1/2" studs...yes?

I had no recollection of those........ I changed out the rear to a nice 8-3/4 which I believe are 1/2"-20 studs....... I also have wheel adapters on the front which are 1/2"-20 studs, but they were apparently installed OVER the original 7/16" studs....... Thanks for the quick...

Quick question.......... On a 67 Plymouth small bolt pattern, are the studs 1/2" or 7/16" ????? I have a new set of Cragars to mount on the front, and they say the only nut they have for that pattern is a 7/16" thread.............??????????????

My new set for the Cuda have been on back order from TireRack for over a month now..........Gettin' sick of waitin'.........

I've been running a set of adapters on my Cuda for the past 6 years....Lot's of experience. 1. They're OK on the rear unless you're gonna hammer the throttle...Remember they're bolted, and bolted again....and made of aluminum. 2. They look great, as they "widen" the track of the car....as long...

The adapters will loosen regularly. At worst, they sound like a CV joint getting ready to blow, but louder (when they're loose)....and do NOT use an impact driver on them, or kiss them goodbye. Hand tighten them, or a torque wrench.

17's I don't mind at all..........Some really nice "touring" looks to be had with nice 17's........... 18's are startin' to push the envelope toward the "Hot Wheels" look. :grommit:

I want to purchase some chrome rims for a 76 Duster.....does 3.5 to 3.75" sound right for an average backspacing? That's what they offer in my needed rim size.......... What say ye's ??

They do the same thing with interior plastic paint........ I've been restoring cars for over 38 years, and Krylon Fusion for plastic interior parts is simply the BEST I've found, and is a BOATLOAD less than "big name" paints.....and adhesion promoter is already in it. So blast the name...

You guys can call American Racing direct and order those SBP wheels.....and they're a little cheaper than going through the middle men....... They make them to order.....at least they did last year when we had to match up a damaged wheel........they told us that they still have quite a call...

If the cap is thoroughly cleaned, and the areas to be painted are prepped with 0000 steel wool and prep solvent, you can use any good grade of enamel spray, or by brush with "one shot" sign enamel (if you want what I believe to be the best for such applications), or believe it or not, Rust-oleum...

My buddy has a great 78 Volare with stock steel wheels at 5 on 4.5".....................He's looking at a set of mags from a Mustang, same size, 1970, and a great set of tires on them. These are not unilugs.......beautiful though...... 14 X 6.......just what he wants....... Will they fit on...

I don't know about that...........I have 14's on the front of my Demon and 15's on the rear, and they look great..........245's in the front are pushing the envelope though.........you might have some rubbing issues when turning that puppy.............you'd be better off staying a little below...
