gas ported rings are not allowed, total seal has gas ported spacers, which are legal also, can install metric rings, they are worth power. total seal makes spacers to install thinner rings in top two grooves . well worth the cost. use a napier second ring, can lower oil ring tension lot more...

in stock , it's total combo, rings, valve grind, cam lobe shape, carb, gears tires, suspension, convertor ,headers, all adds up, usually not very streetable, my 340 duster is not streetable. lol

the dana 60 from a 67 to 72 ford 1/2 ton pickup is the lighest . compared to 8 3/4 is 35 heavier. a dana 60 is a dana 60. the main housing has different wgts. 1/2 ton ford , then B& C mopars, 3/4 ton pickups, then 1 ton pickups, lighest to heaviest. just foor for thought.

ok, read rule book, no where does it say, have to have a clutch safety switch, , brackets, stock, super stock, and general regs, no mention of a safety switch rrequired , period. next time ask tech guy to show you in rule book where it says have to have one.

if car didn't come with one, then it's not required, all automatics have to have a neutral start switch, clutch cars do not, ask NHRA about this, it's not in the rule book,

we run a soft loc, we add or subtract c/w also, and adjust base pressure, in a stocker also. lots to a clutch.
