Yessir. Thats a kegger manifold for a magnum motor.... To use it in your build you'd have to use magnum heads 94ish on up.

If you wanted to try and drill it out, it is possible. Use a concrete drill bit. They have carbide tips and will chew right down through the tap. I broke one off inside the head on my truck before and had to use a 90 degree drill in tight quarters, but it worked like a charm!

You should be able to get a decent magnet in there to pull the lifter out. If it's being terribly difficult it may have galded itself into a groove.... In that case, all I can offer is a proverbial saying about a certain floating vessel without means to propel it....

I had an '88 dakota 3.9 with the mini starter as well. Any 88-96 Dakota with the 3.9, 5.2, or 5.9 would work.

It will be on the side of the block on the drivers side. It will either say 318 which would be a 5.2 mag or it will say 360 which would be a 5.9 mag. The blocks are practically identical to the older LA motors. The magnum motors just have a different top end which is why I imagine they didn't...
