I’m having trouble trying to picture this.

360: What engine brackets and motor mounts?

Yes, it was originally a 318 car. It’s definitely a small block K frame. Drivers side mount was mildly hacked to get the 440 in there. It’s repairable.

360: What engine brackets and motor mounts?

It’s not a spool mount type K frame. The 440 I removed had the biscuit mounts.

360: What engine brackets and motor mounts?

    Are these early W2 heads?

I had the valve cover off of the 340 in my 64 Valiant (which is for sale on this forum, mind you). I noticed offset roller rockers and the head casting number is 8870810. Are these W2 heads?

    Removing heads

You should have no problem. Just don't over extend your body. Keep the weight close to your chest/midsection once you remove it from the block.

    Engine Deiseling Problems

You've got to get your mechanical advance down about 7 or so degrees. 16+29=45. Too much total timing. 16+22=38 is better. What dizzy are you using?
