oh and my receipt from mancini says passenger side 82 driver side 81

ok i just went and looked under my wagon that has mancini xhd's. both sets have the same amount of leafs. the passenger side is the one with all the leafs scooted to the front of the axle. drivers side has them more to the back, if that makes sense. mine sits a tad bit higher on the passenger side.

air shocks? or superstock springs. who runs 5 x 4.25? do you mean 5 x 4.50. if you found an 8 1/4 that would solve all your problems. big bolt pattern to get rid of those adapters, plus its a little narrower than the stock 7 1/4.

im partial to manual steering. i like the feeling better and its one less thing to leak.

hey buddy, im glad you ordered your springs, you will be happy with them. mine have been great, they dont seem too stiff on my 63 wagon. i am also running kyb's in the back. if you have any questions let me know.

hmm , mine from mancini came with front bushings. no rears of course because those are just the two rubber halves from the shackles. i just took the shipping labels off, painted them and installed.

if your shackles are good you dont need new ones. i just got them because i was rebuilding everything and mine were shot. glad i could help.

oh yeah and this was pretty recent that i ordered these. the invoice was 4/8/2009 so i would think the pricing would still be the same. good luck!

349 seems a little high to me even though there is free shipping. i just found my mancini racing invoice from when i ordered mine here is the breakdown. left spring.......................................107.50 right spring......................................107.50 rear shackle...

im not sure where else you can get them. i got mine from mancini, but i think shipping was about 90 dollars! i ordered them online so i didnt know until they got to my house. lesson learned.

shouldnt superstock springs have and extra leaf on one side. these sound more like my mancini xhd springs. same number on both sides but the leafes are different lenghts.

i agree. i had a poly kit on my scamp. i went with rubber on the wagon though because the poly squeeked and drove me crazy. but poly bushings, swaybars and kyb's made that thing handle!

isnt it amazing what a difference it makes. it just took me about 1 1/2 weeks from tearing the wagon apart to having the wheels back on the ground. but that includes blasting and painting. those are the time consuming parts. enjoy the new front end! -aaron-

hey guys. does anyone sell the bolts new that bolt the lower ball joints to the spindles for a mid 70's dart setup with disc brakes. i seem to have misplaced all but one from the junkyard car that i pulled my brakes off of.

i had the steel struts from mancini's that are a larger diameter than stock. i also had the lower control arm plates, along with all polygraphite bushings and 1 1/8" front sway bar on my scamp. that car handled great! i dont think you can waste money upgrading any part of the stock suspension...

thats what i will eventually do. i dont know if my car sits level because one of my spare tires i threw on it ended up being low on air.

well i called the tech department at mancini's today. all the guy could tell me was to put the biased spring on the passenger side. which i already new. he then rambled off part numbers, which i already new, and when i asked him about how mine are built goofy, he repeated himself about the right...

good idea. i will call them tomorrow.

hmmm well. crap. that sucks. i just installed them today. i guess i could pull one side and flip the springs. i saw on other sites that they list a different part number for each side so i assumed they were different.

thanks guys. i thought only the superstock springs sat crooked like that, i didnt know the xhd springs were like that too or i probably would not have ordered them. oh well. i guess i will run them. they should help with all the torque my slant six is putting to the rear axle! hehe

hey guys, is anyone running the mopar xhd springs from mancini. i just got mine in the mail and want to install them today and noticed that the two springs are not built the same. one set has all the springs pushed to the front. is this normal? they both have the same amount of springs. sp they...

i had poly bushings on the scamp and the upper control arm bushings use to sqeek like crazy. i would spray them with wd- 40 and it would go away. im going to use rubber bushings on the valiant.

you should sell me that 8 1/4. i'll give ya a couple hundred bucks. that could go toward your 8 3/4. just an idea.

it doesnt take much to tweak these cars either. when i bought my scamp, i noticed that one of the bumper gaurds was broken off, as if someone tagged the bumper. both my fenders are original with no signs of bodywork. one day i was under the car i noticed just behind the bumper bracket the frame...

i thought guys like to run slant six bars for drag racing. you should be able to find a set of those in a junk yard for cheap. i dont know if it will be bouncy though.

if i had unlimited funds, i would be running an alterktion coil over setup with a big brake package.
