I got one too! The engine I just bought from my buddy also came with a LD340. My buddy said it ran pretty strong. Still finishing my "rattle can" engine overhaul so I can't give you seat-of-the-pants review. Mine came with a 750 double pumper. I'm hoping it runs strong.

In the original post, there was no mention of the wheel bolt circle 5 on 4" vs. 4.5". If I recall all of the 8 1/4" are 4.5" Most (if not all?) of the a-body 8 3/4" were 4". I would consider bolt circle diameter as another parameter when considering cost between of potential donor...

Thanks for the tip! Drives home a recent experience with an alignment shop. My pals and I have been working on a 69 Charger and took it to the alignment shop. Drove fine going home, but when taking a look later, realized that no cotter pins were re-installed by the shop. Lots of $$$...
