When shopping, are LA & Magnum cylinder head bolts the same?

I've done the swap. I purchased the ARP head bolts for a LA and they are perfect, plenty of thread engagement and no worries at all. I dont know if those are different length than stock, but I bet its close.

    Dissapointing performance

Your darn right it does! The car is so much fun to drive with the new engine, that the transmission decided to crap out so it could be just as cool!

    Dissapointing performance

Im with what every one has told you so far. Listen to these guys and be open minded to what they have to say. Just because you spent money on heads doesnt mean its going to fix your combo, if it is not set up correctly. I for one am with the people that said you have to low of a stall converter...

    Torque Converter Bolt Circle Wrong

    Torque Converter Bolt Circle Wrong

I found this info on Jegs website. The bolt pattern circle on your flex plate is supposed to be 10". Measure your flex plate from the center of one bolt hole to the center of another bolt hole (as long as its directly across from the other). That is your bolt pattern circle. Double check and...

better engine mounts or torque strap

Is it possible to tear or rip, sure it is, I agree. Am I making enough to do so probably not, Im only at 380hp. Im sure I had the same rubber mounts the OP has when I bought my kit from Schumaker. My engine moved, shook and twisted a bunch with those. Was I worried I was going to do as you...

better engine mounts or torque strap

Thank you Captain Obvious for that enlightening observation. Im giving the OP another option if he is not sold on spending that ridiculous amount of money for poly mounts. I can speak first hand since I have these mounts and have little to no engine movement, with my set up.

better engine mounts or torque strap

I purchased Mancinis MagMounts. I have to say the mounts work great and are way cheaper than the polylocs Mancini Racing Mag Mount Set I didnt like the way the Schumaker bracket fit my car so I based mine off of a similar design and made my own.

340 Rear Main Seal and/or Oil Pan leak

When I was into Jeeps and off roading, there were guys that swore by the Lucas Oil Stop leak stuff. They used it for small leaks, obviously nothing major. I personally have never used it, so I dont have any experience with it, but check all of the obvious areas first, and if the leak doesnt go...
