the solenoid inoperative, I tried to go to the manufacturer of the solenoid but they are no longer in business. When I tested the solenoid It was tested on the valve.

yes, I was measuring them to ground, ill try between the two wires and see what I come up with. They are the two wires I disconnected from the solenoid when I removed the solenoid so i am sure.

I did a check, and one wire showes 127.7 AC....and that is close to what I expected however the other wire shows 24 AC? shouldn't there be nothing in that wire.....I assumed it was a ground....?

Its just marked 115V on the back of the solenoid, so I guess I need to find out for sure So I just need to throw my multimeter to DC and check it then over to AC and check power source for solenoid correct?

thanks, the solenoid is controled by 110V. I guess I'm maybe not understanding you on I need to find DC/AC? you mean test the supplied voltage to the solenoid when the machine is on DC then when its on AC? I guess I would think that the solenoid would receive the same supplied power regardless...

agreed, I have also seen a different Demon carb out the box, leak all over and stain a friends brand new aluminum intake. You would think they could at least tighten all the screws and bolts....guess thats too much to ask for from a brand new carburetor haha

Demon went out of buisness for a reason, I have first hand experience with their quality control issues that gave them a bad reputation. Finding metal shavings in the bowl of a brand new Demon carburetor that wouldn't work correctly left me with a sour taste for BG.
