    Edelbrock or T-Quad

different engines react differently to different carburation.....more or less how you tune the carb. I believe appropriate jetting/settings are more important than how much CFM a carb is rated at. Even Hot Rod magazine did an article awhile back that pointed that out. It is possible to run a...

    Edelbrock or T-Quad

the best choice would be Holley 8), lol thats my favorite but I would run a thermoquad over an edelbrock. There is more fine tuning you can do with a thermoquad......the people that say they are junk don't know how to tune them.

    summit carburetor

they do look like holleys, summit is known for just re-badging products as "summit" products. Im sure they have a deal worked out with holley for them. Still doesnt seem like a bad price for what they are. You could always call them, they will usually tell you which company they get that...

    thermo-quad question.

I had a 72 340 T-quad that i sold to a guy with a 68 dart 340. It needed rebuilt and tuned but now that dart is a screamer and loves that T-quad. I was impressed, but i had no idea where to start as far as dialing it in is concerned so i just opted for a holley dp and sold the carter to him. I...

    thermo-quad question.

An edelbrock or holley will be more user friendly and easier to tune, but when set up properly thermoquads can be made into screamers...if you know how to tune them. I dont honestly think they are worth that much though. Someone else will have a better idea for price.

    throttle cable setup question

because the hemi cable is the exact same as the later a-body cable for V8 but half the price, i learned this from another member on the site, a few members are running this cable. "modify if nesesary from there" thats what i want to know, is what exactly I will have to modify, and im not...

    throttle cable setup question

    K&N air filters

Do you know if they are filters that K&N sells to summit? or are they just knockoff that look like k&Ns? Do you use the same recharger kit from K&N to clean them? I love K&N, I have one on my duster and my harley. Seem to filter very well and flow air nicely. Easy to clean and have a...

    Running E85?

theres an article in the new car craft about a 3 generatin charger that is set up with E85, and a procharger on a 440. really cool build, really powerful and streetable. you might suck up a little extra fuel with E85 but around here it is about $2.35 a gallon and about 105 octane:thumblef:
