From what I know about installing torque converters . Is your suposed have the trans in neutral and then slide the converter on and keep on spinning the converter and you should hear THREE clunks when you hear last clunk it's fully seated .

Ok guys , so this was weird , because ther was no scratches on the dust shield or anything .I painted it both sides and it was clean with no marks ?? For a second I though that there was a bolt stuck in there that was rattling , but nope . I pulled off the shield and just installed the starter...

That I did not check if there was a crack , I will deff investigate if that's the problem

It's just weird , I pulled the trans on this car before , had no problems . Did the same thing this time , and it's this weird nonsense . I'm laying under the car checking everything as we speak .

I'm triple checking everything right now , I tightened them to torque specs , but didint use lock tite thou

I filled the torque converter , before instaling . Started the car in neutral also , but I had it on the ground

I pulled the dust cover off and checked for scratches and nicks on it

Those were the two things that I checked. The starter was tight on there
