    2.76 vs 2.94 gearing

That's kind of what I was assuming but wasnt sure.some of the replies made it sound like the difference would be more dramatic. I'd like to find 2.94's but the 2.76 rear is what's near and available so far.

Looking at purchasing a "portable garage" (aka, tent) for temp storage. Any recommendations?

I've been thinking about one as well, but the winds around here have shredded every one I've seen so far.

This photographer from pittsburgh is awesome

Jumping back to a few days ago when I shot sunrise by the fountain at Point State Park and a few images that focus on some bridges. Now, my main goal when I was down there was to capture the reflection of the skyline in the mirror like water of the fountain basin, and then hang out for sunrise...

    Rear end

What I would do first (after the GREAT advice to clean it first!) is pull the cover off, and actually see if it has a suregrip, and what ratio it is. Then put some appropriate fresh fluid in it, and decide what you wanna do. I agree, the 8 1/4 should be fine, with a sure grip added, and a...

guessing you meant "take the gears".... not sure if there were any differences/changes that happened between the early 70's and early 90's that might preclude that....IIRC there were some major changes to the 7.25" in the late 70's that made stuff like that not swappable.

    [WANTED] Rear Window Trim

As JDMopar mentioned, the parts are 60 years old. Unless you're looking for a temporary fix depending on the quality you already have you'll probably have to wait, this is what I have.
