    Head Id.

    Hey guys, finally got the casting numbers off my heads. I found 3418915C and 04160 for #'s. So far I know they are J heads from a 340? I think? Maybe someone can give me a more difinative answer. Any pro's con's to these heads on a 360? Thanks, Eric

    Can I ID a cam without dissasembling the engine?

    I recently accquired a 360 with unknown internals. J heads. I do know It's got a "wild" Lunati cam in it. Could I set a dial indicator on the push rod side of the rocker arm just to get an idea of the valve lift? I'd rather not take the engine apart since it runs strong and should swap nicely...

    What oil do you use for your engine? What weight should I use, Do you use? I plan on Spinning 8k on the 360 once in a while at the track.

    Trying to figure out what heads are in my new purchase, it's a 360 motor. Any easy ID giveaways? I tried looking for casting #'s but didnt see any. (I know they are there somewhere) Trying to figure it out before I tear it down.
