    oil pan gasket question ??

    My gasket kit came with a oil pan gasket that has 2 larger retaining prongs/nubs (per end seal) My oil pan is old design and used end deals that had about 5-6 nubs (per end seal). Can I enlarge the holes in the pan/ and use the newer style end seals ? or just get a different gasket ?
