:cheers:Well, went and finalized the deal today on my 70 Rebel machine, with 11,000 miles. The car is 99% original, tires, fuel filter, battery, and a fm converter are the only non original options. Interior is perfect, no flaws, body and floors are perfect no rust at all..The paint is very nice, has not been washed in 10 years. Its been in a garage drivin very little. Look at the pedals, the car even has ac.I do have the original polyglas tires that were on it, little hard but lots of tread left. I will put them back on when I fully detail the car. All numbers match, intake, motor, trans, carb and so on. Will post a few pictures..

Just do alot of detailing to it, put the original tires back on it and enjoy it. It has a few nicks in the paint, but I am going to leave it alone.

I have a friend that has a 1971 Machine...yes, according to him they made
very few in '71. 360 with a 4 speed. He has been told that there are only 2 survivors left.

Love the cars!

Wow! Love un-restored cars. Any brand, real deal muscle car in that condition is amazing. There are 2 nice restored Machines up here in North Jersey that go together to the cruise nights.

Personalized plate idea. 'TIME' average car price in 1970 was $3900. average price for gas, 36 cents. trip back anyone??? nice car.:clock:

Absolutely amazing! Reminds me of my first classic car, a 1970 AMC Ambassador SST, everything looks the same besides the hood.

nice car... love amc's. You think it still has the factory warantee.. and a dealership to take it back to. Lol
