Hopefully they're in one of your buckets 'O parts...
In a pinch I have made these out of scraps of 1/2" EMT conduit- I refuse to pay obscene Ebay pricing for something so basic, and that will never actually be seen once everything is installed!
I found the strait one today.. I like the conduit idea.. I be making the other soon. Definitely a engineering wonder with the braces.. thanks John

That's a great looking Barracuda project in this day and age...lol. Very good shape! Where in NC did you find it? Looks like it was somewhere in the hills judging by the pics. I bought one from a crackhead in GA several years ago, in similar shape. Kept the Glock in my pocket the whole time while loading the car in 96 degree heat!

I found it in Dallas area of NC. It was in a old building for years engine was removed and disassembled in buckets..The guy was a eccentric kook..crazy to deal with.. he had no clue what he had..I never owned a A body but I'm glad I got it.

Early a is different.
The early "A" would be a 318, not a 273. As someone said, the 64-65 273 had different intake drillings, as angled, but I believe the exhaust hook-ups were the same bold pattern. The manifolds were different configuration on the outside. If they fit the "A" body with the 273, I don't see any reason they would not fit a 318. The only issue I have with that set-up is the smaller port in the 273 manifolds. I would install headers or at least a 318 manifold. On the converter issue, why not just get a later model converter? I also am pulling straws here and not totally familiar with the early 273, though I do have an 4bbl intake for it. I tossed the heads 4 years ago, so can't compare.

Because the pre-'68 904s had a different diameter and spline count on the input shaft than the '68 and later 904s, and do not interchange.

I believe he was referring to the early A body style ('66 and earlier), not the 318 "A" engine (poly vs LA).

Thanks for the reply. The engine that was pulled was a 273 out of a 1965 barracuda.. The exhaust manifold I have from the 273 will not fit late LA engine heads. There is a boss by the lower right head bolt. So you have to use a spacer 1/4 inch between head and manifold.. all later 318 engines have a larger pilot area in rear of crank. To make a early 904 torque converter work they make a converter sleeve..that fits in the rear of the larger rear part of the crankshaft.. crazy but to make it work you have to do your homework.
