Hello All,

Im changing the Transmission on my 1965 Barracuda to a later model 904, I've order the shifter cable from Imperal so that my original shifter can hook up to the new trans.

My question is what about the speedometer cable? will I need to change to a 1966 cable or will mine work? If not, does anyone make one that hooks to the original 1965 Barracuda cluster to a 1966 or later 904 Transmission?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

What is your plan for a torque converter? The 273 has a smaller register on the rear of the crank, and I believe the early converter has a different spline count and will not work with the later trans! Better check into this!!

Oh forgot to mention in dropping in a 340 made to 1968 specs , and im selling my completely rebuilt 1965 273 , 10,5-1 , 302 swirlport heads from a 318, weiand intake with 600 cfm holley carb, mopar perf, valve covers, adjustable rockers with hydrolic lifters plus my rebuilt 1965 904 transmission.

Motor and transmission have less than 2,000 miles.

Here are some pictures before Motor went into car from 8-10-14, Motor was installed shortley after. I'd like $2,500 for Motor and Transmission
