As usual, I am late to the party Uli! Great job, and a real inspiration, that you are getting all of this done, mostly by hard work and short local supply of parts. I have read the whole thread, it was a true pleasure and thanks for sharing.

I loved my visits to Germany a few years ago, mostly to Roding on business. That is the best beer in the world at some of the local brewaries.

I built a 65 for my Dad the winter of 2006 and took it to him on Fathers day 2007. You might enjoy this, as it was much easier than your fish, he didn't want me to take the windshield and back window out, and that made it a little more difficult. It had really suffered a lot of hail damage setting outside in Kansas for 30 years.

THX for your comments

Hello HemiEd nice work on your Dad´s Car :)

Thanks Uli my friend, it is kind of a fun story.

I have a question on your car. The rear end, is that an 8 1/4? All these cars came with the little peanut 7 1/4, and I have always changed them out to 8 3/4. My second car in 66, was a 64 Barracuda 273 4 speed, and I busted the peanut rear right away.

Hello HemiEd ,

Yes it´s a 8 1/4 rear axle we will see how long she holds ???

In the second season we will build a little more horse power

Uli, it is my understanding those 8 1/4 rears are pretty strong, and a lot of people put them in, as a replacement for the 7 1/4. Did you narrow it yourself, or find it out of a later A Body?

I hope you understut me my english is very Bad

HemiEd it´s caming out for a later A body !

It should become thus about 500 hp sometimes see how long them this endures !

today a pair of parts worked off and Sandblasted and on finish i am drink a bottle of beer :)))))

Schweinsteiger!!!!!

Awesome build man, looking very good. There were so many German supporters here but it looks like The Netherlands exported everyone over.

Nice to see Germany right up to the end.

You are very lucky to have a friend like Adam. Most of my friends couldn't change their own oil! There is no way they would get dirty and sweaty sanding on MY car.
