Thank you Jim at RacerBrown!!! The cam, lifters and springs have arrived....

Got the upper ball joints off...one easily, the other took a 4 foot cheater bar on my 3 foot breaker bar. Now a little surgical use of a saws-all and the frozen cam bolts will be out. Update, end of the week.

Dropped the Cam, lifters and springs at the Engine shop. got some pics.

Top end, this was the worst cylinder before boring.

Pretty new pistons... the pin fit in the rods are almost too good to be true.

Old and one new laid out.

The last piece of disassembly that remained to do on the car was the UCA bolts as they had frozen and the shop left it to me to do that part. I went over last saturday, but did not have a carbide recip blade, so I was only able to get one free with the tools i had. Picked up a good carbide recip blade and went back in today on the way to the office and got the other three done and the UCAs removed. I was able to save the front UCA bolt on the driver side, but the other three were fodder for the carbide. But completing that did check off a box and feel a bit like progress. Now back to the metal cutting and fab work once saturdays open back up. At home I can work on the A833 rebuild and start some of the gauge cluster refurb over the winter.

The engine, however, is nearly done as the last parts are ordered and once in will be assembled. That will also feel like progress.
