I know someone is going to post the :worthles: so I did it first.
I'm in Ga. visiting the daughter/son in law/grandson and I've run across a very clean very little rust(only on the extreme lower left rear quarter) 1966 Dart GT slant 6, auto, PS. White pant, black bucket interior in good shape. Body straight, glass is good. I found it a a garage that the mechanics have done a lot of repairs to (talked to the owner mechanic), brakes, resealed engine serviced, new brakes. The owner of the car then decided to sell it. It has been raining here so I didn't get to go back today and get some pictures and go over it better. My question is, what is a good price for it? Going by my description above. I was given a price but don't want to influence any opinions. Thanks for your input.

How many miles,does it run,original owner,floor shift?

Need pics to be sure but a decent driver with a slant 2 to 3 grand. Of course a V8 could go a grand to 2 more.

Check it out and if it's good like you described I would say $2500 would be reasonable. Ask him what he'd like to get out of it. If he says $10,000 you may have your work cut out for you. FYI I bought my 66 GT HP273/4 speed car for $3500 but it was 10 years ago. Prices on those cars haven't gone up too much. tmm

Yea, ID say just by your description its in the $2500-3500 range!! Barrett-Jackson will probably drive up the price though....hope not!! Good luck with getting the deal done!! Geof

I'm thinking something like that might sell at $2000, possibly more but with a slant six there won't be too much interest.

VDART is the winner. The guy wants $4000.00 for it. Of coarse I'm going to try and get it for $2-3K. My plan is to build the wife a little classic to toy around with it. It is a column shift auto. I'm going over today to look at it better and make the owner an offer. To me the condition of the body is more important than anything else, now days this seems to be where most projects get out of hand, money wise. Thanks for all the comments, I'll keep you posted.

It rained all day Friday so I did get over there today for a better look. It needs a windshield, needs a new head liner, and I'll have to change it to P/S if the wife is going to drive it. I took pictures with my I phone if some one can tell me how to post them from my phone I will?

I entered my e mail address as a contact on my cell phone and send the image there. I open my e mail and there they are. Then I can save the images to my photo file. It does cost extra on my cell phone bill to send images though. But not much.

Yea, you lost me at the Bakery. I'll have to get my son in law to help me.

Sorry, I clarified my instructions a bit. lol
