Looks like fun Ulf and another one nicely done!
 
Finally the engine/tranny and front end is united with the body. My friend Johan gave me a hand and 1.5 hours later we were done!

My plans is to change the front weatherstrip for the windshiled to 1968 model due to easier finding a complete setup. Does anyone have any experience with that? From what I know I need to add clips, finding the mouldings and buy another weatherstrip. Is that it? Is there complete setups for sale by someone?

Any help is gladly appriciated.

Today I added the wiring harness in the engine compartment. Took me 5 houts to redo the system. But I have one question; - How does the winhshiels washer motor mounts and how does it look?

While assembling in tje shop the whole day I found out that small items are missing. Anyone having tje clips on the rod between the door handle and the look mecanism? See the rod in the picture.

I mounted the gastank, fuel line, fuel pipe, exhaust system, trunk divider, door handles, and parking brake wire. The first wire from handle to underneat the car is stuck!!

The owner brought the hood too. She wanted a picturee on the hood.

How many projects do you have, Ulf?!

Just two this winter. When this one is ready in beginning of April I will continue with the Dartcharger tribute car. Heads will be ready within two weeks and then the intske manifold from Keith should be hete.

Does anyonw know how the routing on the parking brake wires from each wheel goes? Do they go both. On the left side?
 
Here is picture of my routing. Not sure if it's correct. The partscatalog is the same for 65 and 67 but the parking brake wire on the right side is way much longer!

Any ideas out there?

I'm also looking for the cover for the nrake pads. Not sure of the name!! Sorry for bad English!

One of them is missing the spring clips as you can see in the picture. And they're not in terribly good shape ...
 
I added the rear weatherstrip for the rear window. But after fixing the rust I must have welded the holes too for the clips! :banghead::banghead:

Question is how many clips should be on the lower section for the two lower stainless steel mouldings?

Any help is greatly appriciated!
 

Thanks Anders. Will see if I can find a parking brake wire in US next week.

Today I painted the holdet for the brake pads in yellow dichromate. However I found out that one spring needs to be replaced.

Mounted the heater assembly too. Need to get one wire for it if not the 65 wires fit!

The rear window is ready to be mounted. Not sure where Mr Glassman is!

Finally Robert the glassman showed up. We found out the replacement weatherstripping is thinner than factory ones. Add lots of sealer on the top. It's 3/8s smaller at top.

Result was great!

This is the way the Dart looked when we dragged it out of there. That was September of 2014. Soon it will be ready for this summer cruising!

Started over with the car yesterday! Funny but I'm pretty sure I mounted the rear window before I left for US. When I got home I found it exploded!!!

I added the steering column today so hopefully tonight I can check all the electrical stuff.

Finally all electrical parts is in place. On thing missing is the backup switch. It seems that it is mounted with the mecanism since the is two extra wires in the harness too.

The brake calipers is mounted after getting the brake lines for them. However the brake line for the rear brakes has a valve. My question is; which direction should it be mounted?

I've owned a 67 GTS Dart since it was 1.5 years old and the original equipment proportioning valve didn't reduce the pressure to the rear brakes enough resulting in premature rear wheel lock up. Even a new one did the same thing. The solution was an adjustable proportioning valve. Later I also install better pads on the front discs with slotted rotors and then the car stopped like it should. Mine are still manual.
